VitalStim Plus
The neuromuscular electrical stimulator is designed to activate and retrain muscles used in swallowing. It includes EMG biofeedback, providing patients with visual and audible feedback during swallowing exercises to aid in functional recovery.
FEES – Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing
FEES is a procedure conducted in-house by our certified speech-language pathologists. They use a small flexible endoscope to examine areas around the voice box and the opening of the esophagus, allowing them to assess swallowing function effectively.
Videostroboscopy
Video assessment is used to examine vocal fold pathology, function, and movement, providing detailed visual analysis of these areas.
